A Kenyan individual based in the United Arab Emirates has unfortunately met his forty days after he was sentenced to life for allegedly smuggling marijuana using model boats.

They drew red flags upon noticing the rather unusual shipment. Upon conducting thorough research, five plastic bags filled with marijuana were discovered.
The courier company was instructed to finish facilitating the delivery to the said Kenyan individual, with police maintaining close surveillance.
The man is believed to on September 1st 2022 have arrived to collect his shipment, whereby the men in blue swung into swift action and put both individuals into custody.
Urine tests conducted on both of them turned out to be positive and confirmed both individuals were drug consumers.
The friend admitted to investigators that he had consumed the drugs which had been supplied to him by the Kenyan. This led prosecutors to charge the Kenyan individual with drug smuggling into UAE and with facilitating drug consumption. The man denied both charges in court despite having initially pleaded guilty during interrogation.
He was convicted of both charges and will be deported upon serving his prison sentence. It should be noted that United Arab Emirates remains strict regarding drugs and substance abuse.
