SHOCKING CASE OF DISTRAUGHT KENYAN FAMILY IN UAE

Around two weeks ago, Kenyans in official WhatsApp Kenyan welfare groups woke to distraught news of a Kenyan family with three children undergoing a tough time in UAE. The parents to the children are both in overstay and the children are currently believed to be suffering from malnutrition. To make matters worse, they lack identification records due to pending bills in hospital where they were delivered.

In gun-speed, a team of Kenyans under our able chairman Kings George moved to rescue the family by assisting them with transportation to the Kenyan consulate in Dubai. To their surprise, the Lenny-led team were left dumb-founded as the lady-known as Shiko- took off in lightning speed. The undeterred team proceeded to file their case at the Kenyan consulate with the help of the children’s father who is believed to be a part time worker at a logistics company based in Dubai.

For some time, most Kenyans were left at ease knowing the matter had been solved only for our Chairman to decide to air his frustrations in public regarding the situation. Apparently, Shiko had been stubborn and was not cooperating with the welfare group to facilitate her `smooth` return to Kenya. The husband had also apparently become callous and arrogant. The welfare group at this point threw in the towel citing frustrations regarding handling the case.

To make matters worse, it is currently believed that the family has been thrown out of their abode due to rent defaultment. Kenyans of goodwill are now pleading with the consulate and embassy to intervene with majority of them being deeply concerned of the minors welfare.
